Annual meeting of the American Conference for Irish Studies, University of Notre Dame (USA) 2016.

Dr Florence Impens (Institute Research Associate)  presented at the recent annual meeting of the American Conference for Irish Studies (30 March-3 April 2016) where she gave a presentation on Ovidian Presences in Contemporary Irish Poetry, the theme of this year's annual meeting was 'The Worldling of Irish Studies'.  Florence also taught a guest seminar there in the Department of Classics on Seamus Heaney's 'Mycenae Lookout', as part of a course on 'The Irish and the Greek Tragedy'.
