Hannah is a historian of industrial revolution England. She is Chair of Manchester Histories, a charity which works to transform lives in Greater Manchester through histories and heritage, a Historical Advisor for the National Trust and a feoffee of Chetham's charity.

Kat Lowe, Manager of the John Rylands Research Institute
Kat is responsible for the day to day running of the Institute, including marketing, communications, grant management and finance. Kat's background is in early print and paratexts, and she gained a PhD in English Literature from The University of Manchester, where she also worked in a research and research impact support role for the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures.

Chloe Jeffries, Grant Writer
Chloe helps to build projects and scale up ideas. She has won bids with researchers across the Humanities and enjoys strong links with the arts, heritage and charitable sectors. Chloe gained a D. Phil in History from the University of Oxford, and previously worked in research development for Brunel University London.

Aaron McGaughey, Grant Writer
Aaron works with Humanities researchers and JRRI fellows to develop projects and apply for funding. Prior to joining The University of Manchester, he gained a PhD in Russian History from The University of Nottingham and worked on funded projects with partners from heritage, library and local history organisations.
