The Manchester Centre for Correspondence Studies (MCCS) team comprises colleagues from several established and emerging projects at the University of Manchester, including from the JRRI-funded Lives and Afterlives of Letters Network (2017-18).
MCCS will bring together around 30 specialists working with correspondence across historical periods, languages and cultures to promote best practice in correspondence studies. In 2018-19, the activities hosted by MCCS and other academic partners will include seminars, training iniatives, and public-facing events relating to the study of correspondence.
Throughout 2018-19, MCCS is jointly funded by a JRRI collaboration grant and a School of Arts, Languages and Cultures Research Network Grant.
